Bib Chinstrapper

“We all saw people like this in public spaces: testing the definition of ‘wearing’ a mask.

On the face? Yes, sort of. Covering the mouth and nose? No!

Various styles emerged: nose exposed, mask pushed up to the forehead, and the popular ‘chinstrap’. I once even saw a ‘nose only’ arrangement, the mask pushed up to afford eating something from a Greggs paper bag.

Whilst one suffered the bother and discomfort of wearing a mask correctly, the blood quickly boiled when confronted by one of these cavalier types — a half-arsed effort seemingly more objectionable than no mask at all.

The fingerless gloves were an added bonus, rare in the Star Wars Universe, but perfectly underlining the rule-flaunting attitudes of this character.”
